Someone sent me this really cool picture of cherry blossoms in Washington DC from the cherry blossom festival. I lived in Japan, so I often saw cherry blossoms every spring, but I've never seen them in the US. The cherry blossom trees were a gift from Tokyo in 1912, and more were added throughout the years.

Japan in DC
Someone sent me this really cool picture of cherry blossoms in Washington DC from the cherry blossom festival. I lived in Japan, so I often saw cherry blossoms every spring, but I've never seen them in the US. The cherry blossom trees were a gift from Tokyo in 1912, and more were added throughout the years.
I've been to DC when the cherry trees are flowering, and it's quite beautiful. I've been thinking about that trip this spring, thinking I need to dig out those photos I shot on film and scan them so I've got digital access.
ReplyDeleteSo you don't have a digital camera? I started taking pics around town--it's very easy to upload the pics, especially on a Mac.
