A practical example is designing a security system for our home. This is a project that we have been collecting info for, but we need more electronic components to make it work....And there is the chemistry aspect. I like to garden and I have tons of aloe vera. If I got a JET REMPII or gas chromatography machine, I could analyze the constituents of many of my plants and extract the good stuff! Although I love physics, I need to bone up on chemical processes...OK I have ranted. Thx for asking:)Mahndisa S. I'm not a scientist, so I can't deduce what kind of work you want to do.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983828.post-1132267059612521352005-11-17T16:37:00.000-06:002005-11-17T16:37:00.000-06:0011 17 05And oh, I am an aspiring scientist trying ...11 17 05

And oh, I am an aspiring scientist trying to finish up my schooling now. That is another story for another post if I get around to it:)Mahndisa S. This can be done with some expenditures I expect the cost to be ten thousand or a little more. Hence the waiting part:( My husband is called a programmer and software designer and architect. Although he has skills as a statistian and mechanic as well! Thx for asking! I expect the process to last (in building) for maybe two years. We can do it in the garage if we do it right! I am just wishing someone would donate a gas chromatography machine or a JET REMPI machine right about now, cuz I am itching to run some experiments!Mahndisa S. But I should post some observations here.

What kind of lab do you want to create? My husband and I thought seriously about that lifestyle in the warehouse with the lab but insulation and dust were a problem! I like the daily topics of conversation; these are things that we experience but seldom discuss...Good post:)Mahndisa S.
